Salesforce Solution Architect (NonProfit + Consulting Experience) REMOTE
The Solutions Architect will be highly experienced in deploying Salesforce solutions for nonprofit organizations or education institutions, have strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time. The best candidates are Salesforce experts with a passion for nonprofits.
Salesforce certification (Admin, Dev, Advanced Admin, Advanced Dev, etc) required.
Minimum of five years Solution Architect experience, excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Six to seven years of IT experience, advanced skills in Salesforce, Force.com, Business Analysis and Project Scoping.
Solid experience in Data Modeling concepts and tools.
Applied knowledge of Salesforce and the Sales, Services and Marketing functions. Nonprofit or higher ed industry experience is a huge plus.
Ability to develop practical solutions and methodologies as related to Salesforce.
Exposure to Workday and Cornerstone on Demand are another added bonus.
The Solutions Architect (SA) should have sound knowledge of Salesforce.com Sales and Service Clouds and will be responsible for successfully creating custom applications using Force.com and integrating Salesforce.com with other systems.
In this capacity, the SA will be an expert in Force.com application development, Salesforce.com integration and extension, features, designing solutions, using the Force.com API, APEX, Visualforce, applications from the AppExchange and other tools that extend the product.
The SA will provide technical guidance to the development of Salesforce.com applications to support business and product strategies.
Must be able to lead a technical requirements gathering session, oversee and approve creation and maintenance of application and system documentation used in design, testing or programming efforts and manage the integration process.
The Solutions Architect will look for synergies between the various SaaS product offerings in terms of application and infrastructure and will offer guidance on best practices and efficiencies in utilization.
The Solutions Architect will also work with Account Executives in a Sales Engineering function to appropriately scope project proposals.
