DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for achieving sales targets and objectives as agreed
  • Source new sales opportunities through marketing inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and other channels.
  • Develop relationships and nurture suitable prospects/customers to provide a regular stream of highly qualified leads to the field based sales teams.
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators to include the level of activity, pipeline, new revenue business opportunities and lead generation activity
  • Build, manage and report on a pipeline of opportunities to cover monthly/quarterly target, ensuring accurate reporting in CRM database
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and build strong relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate field sales team for further development and closure.
  • Work as part of the sales team to generate ideas for company sales opportunities.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.




SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Highly motivated and self-starting individual
  • Energetic with your own 'drive' to succeed
  • Proven 2+ years telemarketing/telesales experience
  • Ideally experience in the technical markets such as Architectural, Civil Engineering and Construction work environment.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialling dozens of calls per day.
  • Ability to establish excellent working rapport with field sales teams, marketing, other team members and customers.
  • Experience working with SFDC (or another CRM), LinkedIn
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Ideally BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in identifying tenders
