Salesforce Customer Support Engineer- Remote (Need to live in South Carolina or Texas)- $70-90k

My client is a small startup responsible for Distribution Engine, a popular Salesforce application for lead, case, and other record assignment. They are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with experience in application/software customer support role, who works well under little supervision. Case management, technical troubleshooting, bug reproduction, and software configuration should be part of your skillset. Qualified candidates need to have excellent written English, and should possess genuine interest in technology and problem solving. Startup environments have a very unique atmosphere, and prior experience working in one would be beneficial.

An understanding of some of the underlying Salesforce technologies, such as apex triggers and SOQL, would be useful but is not mandatory for the role.

The Role

This is a hands on role responding to support cases over email or phone. Case work ranges from account setup questions, product training issues, and technical troubleshooting. Some cases may require thorough investigation, reviewing debug logs, or testing locally to recreate the issue. Caseload will vary so it is important to work quickly and accurately during busy hours so customers get timely responses.

Location and working hours

This is a remote working position so location is flexible, but candidates must live in either South Carolina or Texas. Most customers are US based so we're looking for someone to cover primarily east coast business hours.


The package is open to discussion dependent on experience but will include salary + bonus + medical coverage.
