SFDC Architecture and Development Director - Scottsdale, AZ - $170K
The Architecture and Development Director reporting into the CIO. As an Architecture and Development Director you will be responsible for aligning the groups technology strategy with the overall Business strategy, and be specifically responsible for software and business application architecture pertaining to the Salesforce CRM.
Your duties and responsibilities as Architecture & Development Director will include:
-You will create and own the company's line of business applications and data architecture.
-You will be a leader of the company's long term software and application multi year vision.
-You will be expected to understand the business strategy and build a technology plan which brings the group's systems into alignment with those objectives.
-You will take this vision and "wire it up". A three year task where you will deliver value every month.
-You will install the full SDLC and best practice and create the culture around it.
-You will act as the ultimate technical authority for all software, application change and for technical project decisions
-You will sell the software and business application strategy to the group senior management team
-You will build and run a software and application development team from existing employees in the business and through hiring.
-You will continuously manage change and new requirements or initiatives.
-You will maintain the key technical documentation and architectural plans.
-You will implement secure coding techniques and facilitate independent application security testing
-You will lead the development of the company's Management Information strategy in conjunction with the head of Business Intelligence.
-You will work with senior IT and business stakeholders in other business units to align objectives.
Skills & Experience:
-Good understanding of cloud based environments.
-The ability to simplify complex ideas for non-technical audiences
-The gravitas to drive complex decisions
-Great written and verbal communication skills
-A broad understanding of wider business objectives outside of IT.
-In-depth understanding of CRM, particularly the deployment of Salesforce.
-Technical Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL
-A good understanding of Web and Ecommerce technologies.
-Experience in a similar position on a Finance Services company.
-Experience of successfully creating, owning and delivering IT roadmaps
-Experience of integrating multiple complex business applications
-Experience as a specialist Manager of Software Developers and Architects
-Expertise as an Architect, integrating complex business application architectures
-Leadership and communication skills distilling complicated technologies across the stakeholder portfolio as well as to expert technologist.
-Identification and prioritization of the overall IT roadmap
-Demonstrable experience as the technical authority for IT
