This role is responsible for managing our client's Web presence, ensuring that our site is user-friendly and up to date at all times.

Works with Digital Marketing Team to expand our presence through the design and implementation of Web-based applications that will positively impact our customers' experience. Is knowledgeable in server management and online security, content management and have coding skills.



Critical functions
  • Liaises with all business & IT stakeholders to ensure all systems and business rules are followed and compliant with brand, security, content & commercial guidelines.
  • Makes all necessary updates to the Company site, minimizing downtime.
  • Monitors Web sites, scheduled jobs and handles support requests on and off hours.
  • Updates content to reflect current SEO trends.
  • Performs on-going maintenance including bug fixing, broken links and feature enhancements.
  • Optimizes loading speeds and capacity.
  • Contributes to discussions on ways to improve functionality and usability.
  • Optimizes customer experience by following the best usability guidelines.
  • Collaborates with business and Technology Teams to meet needs and improve efficiency.
  • Replies to user comments and queries in a timely fashion.
  • Is responsible for daily quality control, ensuring the Websites are free of errors.
  • Tests the functionality of Web pages and emails in several browsers/platforms across multiple devices and makes appropriate changes if needed.
  • Google Tag Management (GTM) maintenance and development
  • Manages development builds (Git/Bitbucket, generate reports, deploy builds).
  • Manages DNS, domain names and SSL certificates.
  • Monitors, supports and fixes issues related to all software used for the eCommerce Website, such as and not limited to Salesforce, payment processing, fraud prevention and call centre.
  • Evaluates and researches best-in-class software and products that are relevant to the eCommerce business and make recommendations.
  • Coordinates User Acceptance Testing with IT stakeholders, ensuring business critical systems and processes remain operational and bug free. Ensures prioritization of platform regression.






Requirements
  • Relevant degree with strong knowledge/experience in Web design/programming or a related field is preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Web, preferably in the fashion retail industry
  • Experience with the Salesforce suite, Cybersource, Perimeterx is considered an asset.
  • Proficient in HTML5/CSS/SCSS, XML and Javascript (SQL knowledge is an asset)
  • Proficient in REST/SOAP APIs integrations
  • Proven experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer, in depth understanding of the Web, Web browsers, search engines and Web architecture
  • Knowledge of web analytics (Google Analytics) and SEO
  • Familiarity with web standards
  • Working knowledge of website management tools (Salesforce/Demandware)
