Business Development Representative-Berkshire-Up to £35k + OTE

Business Development Representative required by an expanding Salesforce ISV with an outstanding reputation based in the Berkshire area. The company in question have a unique software offering that sits on Salesforce itself, and are currently looking to expand their operations within the UK after a period of strong and steady growth.

They are looking for a skilled Business Development Representative to qualify leads and pass them over to the Account Executives to close-this will involve more sales cycle involvement than your typical lead generation role and will also involve demonstrating the software to potential customers. Training on the software will be provided, as well as dedicated training on the Salesforce platform also. In addition to this. a large amount of your work will be warm-a lot of the company's work comes from referrals, so there won't be as much cold calling involved as in your typical Business Development position. Sales cycles are fairly long, the average being around 8-9 months in length, so lead nurturing over the longer term will also be involved, in order to keep prospects "warm" until they decide to buy.

With regards to package-an exceptionally generous basic of £35k is on offer (dependent on experience), with an equally appealing commission structure-a £2k bonus per quarter for hitting lead qualification targets, with an additional uncapped 0.5% commission on any business closed from your leads (the most recent deal closed was for around £300k first year contract value, which gives an insight into the additional earning potential available).

Progression options are also very good and linear-the last Business Development Representative hired by the company moved into an Account Executive role in the space of 9 months, so this really is a place where you can kickstart your career at an ambitious company working with a great product-so long as you hit your targets!

Last but not least, the interview process is anticipated to include 2 face to face interviews, both of which will take place in as short a period of time as possible.

Key criteria are as below.

-Track record of success within a software lead generation environment

-An understanding of Salesforce CRM-ideally as a frequent user

-A background within the customer service industry is desirable but not essential
