Business Development Representative-West Midlands-Up to £35k + OTE



My client is actively searching for a skilled Business Development Executive to help drive demand generation efforts for their leading UK software company based in the West Midlands.



The company in question are a leading Cloud and Data Solutions provider with offices in a variety of locations globally-you will be working out of their Midlands office 5 days a week. You will be charged with generating new business through a mixture of inbound and outbound work, predominantly within the UK but there may also be opportunities to follow up on outside of these regions. There is also a marketing team in place who will assist you in providing inbound leads to supplement the targeted outbound calls you will be expected to undertake.

There will be an expectation to be in the office for an initial period until you are established,, however after that point there is scope for you to undertake a part remote working position. In addition to this, there are two strong progression opportunities available should you consistently hit your targets-either moving into a full 360 sales cycle Business Development Manager role, or becoming Team Leader of the BDR function. They are offering an above market standard package of up to £35k basic dependent on experience, allied with a £20k commission structure-totalling a very realistic £55k OTE.

What we require from you;

  • Proven experience in a Business Development capacity-preferably lead generation within a software sales environment
  • Experience dealing with C level executives at large organisations, with a proven ability in having high level conversations and closing deals.
  • Strong rapport building and pipeline management skills
