Partner Business Development Manager-London-up to £60k + Bonus

The opportunity has presented itself for a skilled Partner Business Development Manager with a Salesforce background to join a world renowned e-commerce provider based in Central London. This is a unique position in that you will be tasked specifically with managing the relationship between the company and the Salesforce ecosystem-so pre existing contacts within the Salesforce world would provide a distinct advantage.

You will be expected to collaborate strongly with Salesforce in order to uncover and engage with prospective clients to develop marketing leads into opportunities, manage company bids for new business and ultimately convert them successfully into wins. The role will be 100% New Business focused-and as such you will be expected to spend as much time client facing as possible. You will spend 3 days a week in Salesforce tower, networking and strengthening relationships within the ecosystem as well as sourcing new opportunities to close-there will be a marketing team in place to support you, in addition to referrals through the Salesforce ecosystem-however there will also be an expectation to self generate leads in order to maximise the number of opportunities generated. The rest of your time will be spent between home and the company offices in Central London. The bulk of your work will be concentrated within the UK, however there may also be opportunities in the EMEA region also. There is a generous base salary of up to £60k on offer for the right candidate-with an additional 25% bonus on offer dependent on meeting individual and company targets-totalling an overall OTE of £80k.

You will be selling largely into the Mid-Market and Enterprise space-typical deal sizes are around the £500k mark, made up of a combination of software and services, with sales cycles typically ranging from 6-12 months in length. The company in question are at the very cutting edge of e-commerce, who are one of the fastest growing and already one fo the largest e-commerce companies globally-you will be working with household brands from day one, primarily within the Retail vertical but also within the FMCG and CPG industries-this is an unrivalled opportunity to rub shoulders with the leading brands within the field. Key requirements for the role are as follows;
  • Pre existing knowledge of the Salesforce Ecosystem would be a distinct advantage
  • Previous experience selling e-commerce solutions-preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud but other experience also considered
  • Experience selling to Enterprise level clients
  • Project delivery experience in a client / client facing role, e.g. consultant, delivery manager, project manager or account manager
  • Understanding of digital project lifecycles
