Senior Sales Operations Analyst/Salesforce Administrator

An impressive company is looking to add an experienced Salesforce Admin with heavy Sales Ops Analyst experience to their team in Palo Alto, CA. This person will be responsible for supporting the sales and commercial teams as CRM administrator and through the execution of sales operations deliverables.

Job Role and Requirements
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Administration
    • Serve as a key subject matter expert on Salesforce CRM system.
    • Manage the day to day functioning of the CRM platform.
    • Adapt the platform to meet the evolving structure of the sales team and the company's product portfolio.
    • Resolve issues and develop innovative solutions related to the CRM platforms to ensure it's meeting the evolving needs of the sales team.
    • Continuously learn about advancements with the CRM platform and ancillary applications that could be harnessed by the commercial team.
    • Perform analysis, administration, documentation, troubleshooting, testing, software and data environment refreshes as needed.
    • Educate end users on how to utilize the platform to analyze their territories, forecast, add relevant data.
  • Sales Operations Support: Reporting, Analytics, & Sales Data
    • Utilize sales analytics to help support quarterly sales forecasts, quota setting, and sales deployment decisions. This includes but is not limited to rollout quota files, distribute compensation letters, and setup MBO tracking file.
    • Maintain and streamline sales reporting and analytics tools for use by the sales team.
    • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all technological platforms.
    • Ensure automated reports and metrics are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
    • Support any ad hoc analysis requested by sales and marketing leadership teams.
  • Marketing Operations and Analytics
    • Providing support for the marketing team's operational and analytical functions.
    • Customize and adapt Salesforce CRM to meet the data collection and reporting needs for specific marketing initiatives. This also involves integrating this platform with other marketing tools the team currently utilizes.

  • Must have:
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience as business analyst or Salesforce.com administrator
    • Expert proficiency in Salesforce.com
    • Experience with reporting tools like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite products, with expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Communication, relationship-building, and project management skills are critical to success
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
    • Up to 10% Travel required
