Job title: Salesforce Solutions Architect
Location: Bethesda, MD
Salary: $130k-$145k with remote flexibility, benefits and bonus structure

Job Description & Responsibilities: Interesting opportunity for a Solutions Architect in Bethesda, MD has opened up in the education space. The SA's responsibilities will include relaying the information from the Project Managers to the business analysts, to the developers, to the administrators. The SA must be proficient with with the best practices in the Salesforce and business world to make sure that budgets, as well as timelines are met.

This position will be filled with someone who has experience with writing code, highly self-motivated, and someone who enjoys being challenged on a daily basis. Integration, implementation and migration experience are also needed when being considered for this role. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Non-Profit Sales Pack and Education Cloud of Salesforce. Experience in handling multi-million dollar projects in the Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud while mentoring colleagues on the platform is a must.

Essential Duties and Skills:
- Expert-level experience in Salesforce configuration
- Salesforce software development life cycle
- Design and implement critical solutions on Force.com platform
- Utilize Visualforce, API, Apex, D/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOJO, AJAX etc..
- Developing next-gen Salesforce platform (Lightning)
- Full application life cycle for solutions design, development
- Full application life cycle for automated testing, deployment
- Understanding of data quality and design
- Develop and release management for Salesforce applications using DevOps
- Recommend strategy for source code management for Salesforce applications
- Recommend Salesforce.com integration strategies with different business systems
- Prior work using the leading Salesforce integration tools

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline
- Proficiency in development with Salesforce
- Proficiency in software development
- Experience working in Agile, SCRUM environment
- Prior knowledge in building web-based UIs
- Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Prior work in OO languages
- Prior work with MVC framework
- Meet deadlines, set priorities and work flexibly
- Critical thinking and effective decision making
