Salesforce Admin/Product Owner - Indianapolis, IN - $120K



As the Salesforce Administrator/Product Owner for this multi-billion-dollar organization, you will be positioned within the Customer Experience group and be responsible for managing the Salesforce platform. You will help to lead the strategy and design of the SFDC platform, support the SFDC consolidation and cleanup initiative across business units, and support the SFDC re-architecting to meet enterprise best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Salesforce and Partner Community and all integrated apps
  • Act as product owner, liaising with businesses to gather requirements, understand business drivers and lead product development and governance
  • Serve as the primary admin for our Salesforce user community of >2k users
  • Configuring, coding, implementing, testing and supporting all SFDC instances
  • Designing and managing the integration architecture as well as third-party integration tools, Dell Boomi and Mulesoft, with Salesforce
  • Working, hands-on experience on writing code in Apex, JavaScript, Java, XML, HTML 5
  • Manage upgrades, backups, recovery
  • Troubleshoot and solve all SFDC issues
  • Supporting SFDC consolidations of multiple orgs
  • Maintain the Integrity, security and performance of the SFDC platform
  • Perform all admin functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Lead the evaluation, scope, planning and implementation of Salesforce projects
  • Assist in training new users and supporting sales leadership
  • Proactive identification of areas of improvement with Salesforce
  • Lead best practice design and implementation of contact and account models
  • Provide expert insights on Salesforce within B2B,distributed sales team enterprises
  • Participate in cross-functional planning of data entry, audits, cleanup and process definition
  • Manage org users including profiles, access permissions and governance rules
  • Create conceptual designs, provide deep business analysis, and guide cross-functional conversations
  • Assist in designing integrations, data feeds with other business systems







Required Skills and Experience
  • Desired but not required -Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Management, Computer Science or related program
  • Will accept combination of technical training and professional experience
  • 5+ years B2B Salesforce administration and Salesforce product leadership
  • 1+ year with integration architecture as well as third-party integration tools Dell Boomi and Mulesoft with Salesforce.
  • Hands-on experience on writing code in Apex, Java 1.6 or higher, JavaScript, XML, HTML 5.
  • Solid understanding and proven leadership in Salesforce best practices
  • Mastery of Salesforce, SFDC data models, workflows and org hierarchies
  • Ideal to have experience with Pardot, and Salesforce communities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with minimal direction
  • Ability to articulate concepts and work with business partners to co-develop and lead SFDC deliverables
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and passionate about good sales information design
  • Ability to thoughtfully plan and organize for on-time project delivery
