IT Manager - Quebec

This is a full-time Technology Manager position with a Montreal based company. They are looking for someone that has experience with Salesforce, Google Cloud Platform, and Apple. This role will align the technology with the organisation's vision to support its business and growth strategies. This role is responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing technology initiatives including the successful implementation, management, and advising on the operations of systems applications, data, security, infrastructure, and architecture.

  • Develop and implement a futuristic technology roadmap that is well-aligned with short and long-term business growth plans. Ensure that right technologies are secured and used efficiently, effectively, and yield the desired outcome, thus creating competitive advantage for the Company.
  • Lead notion of technological interventions to achieve business goals to advance service deliver to clients including use of drones, smart apps, self-serve modules for clients, etc.
  • Discover, acquire, and implement new technologies that are compatible, expandable and allow integration and consolidation with other technology platforms currently being used. Ensure that new technological enhancements are cost-efficient and help improve profitability by lowering the costs to run the business.
  • Manage system upgrades and implementation plans including research, testing, documentation, training, and "go-live" rollout of business application with minimal disruption to ongoing operations providing regular updates to stakeholders and end-users.

  • Proven years of progressive experience of technology delivery and scaling technical infrastructure.
  • Proven years of experience in leadership roles preferably similar positions in the engineering sector.
  • Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management. Hands on experience with complex project management
  • Solid understanding of both business and technology strategy, change management, and a principled approach to digital transformation challenges and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of current practices and standards related to technical operations, industry trends, and evolving technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and governance processes and practices, enterprise software and hardware systems, data processing, systems integration, and outsourced systems.
