Main responsibilities

As part of the European CRM team, you will leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud's capabilities to make sure the technical architecture is the right one to execute the CRM strategy across markets.

You will be recognised for driving, learning, and sharing initiatives that respond to the different business needs; contributing to the development and positioning of the company brands and to the different Customer Experience and Customer Journey framework strategies.

Your role will involve:
  • Lead the necessary digital transformation in customer/prospect communications (data, segmentation, personalization, technology, automation...)
  • Focus in one, or possibly more, of the following areas within Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Email Studio, Content Builder, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, Audience Builder, and/or Web Studio
  • Manage the administration and configuration within the tool: Business Unit, sender profile, data extension, content, HTML, campaign labelling among others
  • Pilot new module activation to prove to the business the capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud's modules, and how we can make the business more successful across markets
  • Develop dynamic content, marketing campaign journey and automation strategy for the markets
  • Develop highly personalised content across CRM programs, using scripting languages such as AMSpcript
  • Ensure the most efficient set-up of email templates and content in the platform for use across markets
  • Define, plan, execute, and optimise email campaigns, including:
    • Development of new creativities or rework of some already implemented from the MKT Cloud Content Builder
    • Programming of html5 creativities in the tool
    • Selection of the target to impact with each communication
    • Validation of tests with the different stakeholders
    • Scheduling the sending of email campaigns
  • Collaborate in other strategic plans in which communication is one of the levers to activate (e.g. lead management model, connection with print - omnicanality: SMS, email and social...)
  • Understand, learn and create best practices. Present relevant and compelling technical business case examples and knowledge to the organization and/or markets




Skills, experience and qualifications required

  • Bachelor's degree or above with 2-3 years of experience in similar position. Minimum of 1 year of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (formerly ExactTarget) including Email Studio, Journey Builder and Marketing Automation modules
  • Certified user in the Marketing Cloud is a plus
  • Advanced use of SQL is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (AMScript)
  • Basic knowledge in HTML5 and CSS layout
  • You are eager to learn about Salesforce Marketing Cloud's new features and/or product releases
  • Good analytical skills, oriented to results, methodical with great sense of initiative, and ability to work under pressure
  • A multi-tasker, capable of dealing multiple responsibilities while maintaining efficient productivity with tight deadlines
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced written and spoken English is required for the role
  • Knowledge of other tools such us Adobe Marketing Cloud (formerly Adobe), Oracle Marketing Cloud (formerly Eloqua), or Radian6/Buddy Media, Pardot or Marketo is a plus but not essential
