Senior Salesforce Developer- Remote - 130k

About the Position:

This role will be critical with working with a technical team to build digital solutions that accelerate profitable growth by maximizing customer value, strengthening sales and productivity, and increasing the ease of doing business with the organization.

The Salesforce Developer will report to the Salesforce Delivery Manager and will be responsible for the design, development and support of applications built on Salesforce utilizing the Salesforce Community and B2B Commerce Cloud for customer self-service and eCommerce.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate and align with platform architects, technical leads and developers to translate business requirements into smart solutions on Salesforce

· Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools

· Configure and customize B2B Commerce solution as required for meeting business needs

· Develop Salesforce solution using out of box features and custom development with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, JavaScript and other force.com programming languages

· Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing technology solutions including integrations with other enterprise software solutions

· Build and develop web services using REST, SOAP and other Salesforce APIs to support various integration points with other systems

· Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, peer code review, deployment and support



Minimum Qualifications:

· 7 years of experience working in an IT environment

· 4 years of experience on Salesforce & Force.com platform

· 3 years of experience in custom development on Force.com platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML

· 2 years of experience in integration of systems using web APIs

· 2 years of experience in Salesforce configuration and administration

· 3 years of experience with Agile or iterative development methodologies

· Salesforce Certified Administrator

· Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

· Experience with Salesforce Community Cloud

· Good understanding of Salesforce out of box features including B2B Commerce Cloud

· Understand best practices and SFDC coding standards



Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in a technical field

· 2 years of experience working on Salesforce Portal and Communities

· Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II

· Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud (formerly known as CloudCraze)

· Experience on Java/.Net and Database languages

· Experience with distributed source control systems (i.e. Git)

· Experience with continuous integration (CI) and deployment (CD) tools (i.e Jenkins, Apache Ant, SalesforceDX)

· Experience on integration platforms & tools like MuleSoft and Informatica

· Strong problem-solving, analytic, conceptual and critical thinking skills

· Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
