Salesforce Enterprise Architect - Chicago, IL - $180,000

As the Salesforce Enterprise Architect for this Data Management Consultancy, you will work with various clients within the Health, Retail, Financial Services, and Insurance Industries. The Salesforce Architect will provide the firm and clients with an industry-leading perspective on data architecture and have specific expertise in at least one of the Salesforce.com architecture components, including sales, health, non-profit, service, or marketing clouds.

You will be called upon to deliver thought leadership as well as hands-on development across projects within a fast-paced environment. The Salesforce Architect should have experience interfacing with senior stakeholders and presenting their proposed architectural models in a manner that highlights impact and benefits to the business. This is a great opportunity for a Salesforce Architect with a data-centric perspective and is looking for an opportunity to work hands on with multiple clients and further develop your skills.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Enterprise Architects and business leaders, to understand the client's business priorities and functional requirements
  • Design and implement Salesforce integration architecture solutions, processes, and data integration with Salesforce applications and other enterprise systems, including technical flows
  • Develop the technical design for the Salesforce application, considering all the functional and technical needs of the application
  • Provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure that the solution delivered is consistent with development policies and standards
  • Define and communicate the "big picture" in terms of the solution (both functional and technical components) and break it down into smaller manageable work units
  • Direct data migration effort for Salesforce implementation projects, including the creation and execution of the overall strategy; requirements gathering, source-target mapping and transformation logic, test and production data loads, and all supporting documentation
  • Provide a viewpoint on technology selection methodology
  • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodology
  • Demonstrated ability in effectively engaging, communicating, and presenting to stakeholders across both business and technology functions
  • Conceptual and analytical thinker with the ability to define business requirements and extract, analyze, and synthesize complex business insights
  • Ability to perform knowledge transfer to support a team


  • 10+ years of professional work experience with at least 5 years of experience in Salesforce technology
  • Salesforce.com Architecture Certification preferred, but not required; notably, one of the following: Salesforce Data Architecture and Management Designer, Integration Architecture Designer, Application Architect, System Architect, Certified Technical Architect
  • Prior professional experience in a management consulting, an IT management, or client facing role strongly preferred
  • Strong strategic business acumen and a passion for solving problems with data-driven solutions
  • Client centric focus with strong relationship management skills and the ability to influence business decisions
  • Intellectually curious and independently resourceful with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (post-Covid)
  • Chicago or New York area candidates preferred, but will consider candidates in other parts of United States
