Lead Salesforce Technical Architect

I am currently working with one of the largest IT Consultancies in Europe who are seeking a Lead Salesforce Technical Architect to manage their UK-wide team!

This role can be based from a number of their UK-based offices, so is flexible on location. The role will allow you to take a leading position on some of the largest Salesforce projects across the globe in one of the most senior technical positions available on the market. Role & Responsibilities
  • You will be at the centre of all solution design and technical architecture for all projects in the UK, acting as the go-to for the architecture team for any technical direction
  • Provide guidance and assist with delivery of all major projects to ensure that best practices are being followed
  • You will set best practise guidelines across the Salesforce group to guarantee quality across the whole Salesforce team, both functional and programmatic
  • Ensure that best practices are being followed across both development and declarative teams and that timelines are being met to deliver all overall solutions
  • You will be expected to keep up to date with the latest releases and research on how the newest technology can be implemented to help improve our client's solutions and ensure that both development and functional teams are pushing the latest innovations
  • Every now and then you will be required to liaise with the sales teams to outline creative visions for prospective projects



Skills & Qualifications
  • A strong communicator is a necessity for this role, as it is paramount that you can build strong, authentic partnerships with the teams that you manage and organise in an effective and detailed manner
  • An expert knowledge of the Salesforce eco-system is required, with a more varied Salesforce expertise a preference so that you can advise on a wide range of projects and technologies e.g. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, FSL, Marketing Cloud, Heroku, CPQ...
  • Extensive experience of the consultancy space is necessary to ensure that you are managing the Salesforce practise in the best possible way
  • Design and architecture experience and an ability to find the most suitable solutions to client's needs
  • You need to be a leading voice when it comes to following best practices across the business
  • Technical management and delivery leadership experience is a must
  • A CTA would be the ideal fit for this role, or someone who is looking to become a CTA within the next year
