Lead Sales Engineer - Salesforce ISV Partner - Toronto, Ontario

Role Location: Toronto, Ontario (Remote)

Role Compensation: $180k + OTE

Role Type: Permanent


  • Become a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO/EA level contacts and their teams
  • Present my client's technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with platform capabilities, security and integration capabilities
  • Understand the customer's need and present my client's solution as the best solution to the need
  • Create and build custom demos of my clients products using working knowledge of LEAN, AGILE and project management methods
  • Conduct architecture and technical workshops that may include both technical IT staff as well as business end users
  • Collaborate extensively with the Customer Success team throughout implementation lifecycle and post sale to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Sales team and alliance team to develop new initiatives
  • Work with sales teams in responses to RFPs and technical requirements documents
  • Be expected to stay up to date with technology changes and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual objectives
  • Mentor and guide more junior technical resources

Skills Required

  • Previous experience as a Sales Engineer at either a ISV Partner or Consulting Partner
  • Familiar with solution selling methodologies & practices
  • Salesforce related development experience (APEX, Lightning, Visualforce, JavaScript), mobile development, modern frameworks, etc.
  • Articulate and precise
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems with various level customers and title-holders
  • Extensive understanding of LEAN, AGILE and PMBOK methodologies

Good to Haves
  • Have multiple Salesforce Certifications and Trailhead badges (The more the better!)
  • Previous experience being successful while working remotely
  • SMB through Enterprise Sales Engineering experience
