SMB Account Executive-Salesforce partner-up to £65k + OTE

The company in question are a Salesforce partner with a target focus on the SMB market-they've grown at a steady rate over the last 3 years and are now looking to expand even further this year. As a result, they are looking for an Account Executive to sell into a client base which is predominantly London based, with the rest being located around the UK. You'll be selling into deal values of an average size of between £20-50k, with sales cycles typically between 1-2 months. You will have lead gen and pre-sales support available-however a willingness to self-generate leads will help in adding to the BDR and marketing efforts already in place to assist you.

As such, they are looking for a hunter with a consultative approach (preferably from a consulting background) to onboard and manage accounts-you will be expected to be in their office based in the Essex area roughly once a fortnight, with the rest of the time spent out in the field meeting prospects and closing deals. Candidates from a Salesforce background are also preferred-anyone who has existing links to Salesforce Account Executives even more so.

The company itself has a very young and dynamic demographic-they're a very sociable and fairly laid back bunch but there will of course be an expectation to deliver results also. The interview process is very straightforward and fairly informal-a first stage phone screen followed by a face to face at their office.

Last but not least-the package is up to £65k basic with an uncapped OTE, as well as an above market average commission percentage on deals closed. This allied with the short sales cycles means that you can ensure a nice steady flow of commission provided you're closing deals.

Key requirements for the role are as follows;

  • Experience within the Salesforce Ecosystem is a must
  • A technical/consulting background is highly desirable but not essential
  • A willingness to travel around the UK as and when required
  • A strong background in Salesforce SMB sales preferred
  • A willingness to supplement demand generation by self generation of leads is a must
