My client in the Salt Lake Metropolitan area is looking for a Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing team. This position would be responsible for building out new code while enhancing existing code. You would have a supportive team surrounding you and reside in the IT department. This role is a critical member of the companies operations development.



Responsibilities

• 
  
  Maintain and update Frontend Web Applications written in both Vue js and Vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• 
  
  Maintain and update backend systems.
• 
  
  Working knowledge of Node.js
• 
  
  Become familiar with, troubleshoot, and perform verification and validation testing on applications used by the company
• 
  
  Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
• 
  
  Supporting the Salesforce Administration team on occasion

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• 
  
  Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 
  
  3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• 
  
  Ability to troubleshoot code, execute test scenarios for newly developed code, and validate recently deployed code updates
• 
  
  Strong drive to provide excellent software, with an awareness of prioritization of tasks, stakeholders, budget, and time
• 
  
  Strong understanding of data models

Bonus Qualifications*

• 
  
  Experience with C#, .NET, Salesforce/FinancialForce, MySQL, JavaScript, React.js, Angular, HTML, CSS, REST, GIT, etc.

• 
  
  Experience with Agile or Scrum
• 
  
  Higher than Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
