An industry leading end user is adding an experienced Salesforce Administrator to their team. This position will work closely with a SFDC Developer and JR SFDC analysts to tackle projects, while also interfacing directly with business leaders to gather requirements and map solutions.

The Salesforce Administrator position requires a candidate with strong business acumen and the talent to be part of a team supporting user groups and business improvement initiatives for an enterprise level CRM system.

Responsibilities:
  • Management of enterprise-wide system and data (customer related objects, products, users, workflows, validation rules etc.)
  • Administer Salesforce.com; this includes working within current processes to maintain: users, roles, security, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, customizations, report and dashboard development, data management, and support for AppExchange applications.
  • Deliver scalable, high quality Salesforce services in support of the business goals
  • Conduct analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise-wide system(s) across functional areas
  • Work alongside SF Developers and Jr. SF resources to complete enhancements, customizations and maintenance of SFDC
  • Research and assess solution approaches to business needs, inclusive of AppExchange or vendor applications
  • Develop test plans and protocols for evaluation of system performance
  • Develop procedures, training and system documentation for Salesforce users
  • Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards
  • Support applications and plug-ins to Salesforce including, but not limited to, CPQ (Configure Price Quote)
  • Lead internal/external projects by specific request of business partners
  • Provide excellent customer service to Salesforce users


Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience administering and/or working in Salesforce
  • 1+ year in a role leading/mentoring or managing SF resources
  • Expert abilities in SFDC best practice/SFDC declarative work
  • Ability to communicate effectively and frequently with SF Developers
  • Effective communication skills with a demonstrated ability to adapt communication to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Adept at problem solving, creative thinking and decision making
  • Ability to work independently to meet tasks and assignments with minimal supervision
  • SF partner vendor management/consulting expertise highly preferred
  • Salesforce Data Loader and declarative development experience preferred
  • Understanding of the Sales and Marketing processes desired (Forecast/Pipeline, Campaigns, Lead generation)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication using the English language
