Technical Project Manager

Location: Calabasas, CA

Salary: $130,000-$140,000

Responsibilities and Role Expectations
  • Versatility in assuming diverse roles within Salesforce and project management, including those of a product owner and proficient user.
  • Efficiently oversees and ensures the timely completion of multiple projects of varying scales.
  • Takes charge of leading requirements workshops, adeptly tailoring agendas and approaches to suit the audience and subject matter.
  • Devises comprehensive project plans, actively monitors and evaluates project advancement and timelines, and adeptly resolves issues to minimize risk and uphold expectations.
  • Supervises the day-to-day implementation of project activities, offering support in planning, tracking, documentation, and regular status updates.
  • Skillfully manages Jira projects, whether Agile or Kanban, expertly guiding the development team through stories and tasks to achieve successful iterative delivery of requirements.
  • Maintains a continuous review of project status, identifying potential project risks, and recommending and implementing approved risk mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Proactively engages and maintains effective communication with stakeholders, with a particular focus on aligning with executive project sponsors.
  • Facilitates the process of requirements gathering and actively contributes to the creation of project deliverables.
  • Offers subject matter expertise to steer project delivery effectively.
  • Updates and maintains the project request log, providing regular updates on project status during bi-weekly conference calls.
  • Plays a role in crafting training documentation to support project implementation.
  • Analyzes post-launch end-user challenges, proposes comprehensive remedies, and contributes to the development of actionable plans.


Skill Proficiencies
  • Proficiency in utilizing Jira Software & Confluence for efficient project management.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies, encompassing scrum processes and sprint ceremonies.
  • Adeptness in various techniques and strategies concerning project phase architecture, development, integration, and deployment.
  • Possession of functional and technical expertise, coupled with strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, risk management skills, delegation aptitude, critical thinking prowess, and effective decision-making abilities.
  • Effective management of extensive project teams, involving executive sponsors, business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA technicians, and end users.
  • Capability in identifying and effectively managing potential project risks.
  • Accumulated experience of 5+ years in technical project management.
  • Preferred possession of PMP certification or relevant training.
  • Additional familiarity with Elements.cloud is considered a valuable asset.
