Responsibilities: - Lead client-focused discovery sessions with a focus on technical communication, strategy, and data architecture.
- Serve as the main engineer on intricate projects and define the technical approach.
- Create, revise, and manage comprehensive task lists with well-defined requirements for up to 5 clients concurrently.
- Work closely with Project Managers to facilitate communication between clients and internal project teams, ensuring alignment and comprehension of the tasks, issues, or features being addressed.
- Offer strategic guidance on client support requests and assist in resolving underlying root causes.
- Integrate Salesforce with external tools from third-party providers, such as email marketing platforms, web forms, and payment processors.
- Handle data-related tasks, including data migration, data mapping, and data cleansing/adjustment, in collaboration with your colleagues.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate problems in client Salesforce instances.
- Offer in-depth technical expertise and configuration support for Nonprofit Cloud and NPSP, in addition to commonly used email marketing tools, online forms, and data import tools.
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in a role related to Salesforce and nonprofit organizations, working with various clients.
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Relevant Salesforce Admin certification and Nonprofit Cloud certification (other Salesforce certifications are a bonus).
- Willingness and enthusiasm for occasional travel to client sites or team meetings (typically 1-2 times annually).
- Willingness and enthusiasm for working at our office locations in Denver or Brooklyn, or remotely via frequent video conferencing.
- Experience with Salesforce development is beneficial but not mandatory. Although most of our work does not require coding, some projects may involve Apex and Javascript, and if you possess these skills, they will be put to good use.
- Any Scrum certifications such as Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner are advantageous but not mandatory.
