Salesforce Release Manager

The role

Our client are looking for a Salesforce release manager to assist the team with their new iterations by scheduling, planning, and controlling the development and delivery process.

Responsibilities

• Governing compliance in the Salesforce production org
• Supporting end-users and development teams with troubleshooting
• Planning and performing deployments using CI/CD process
• Being involved with scrum and defining release goals with the team
• Managing configurations and source code
• Contributing to the product development lifecycle

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Required

• Salesforce configuration - Sales Cloud a must, both classic and lightening preferred
• Up-to-date knowledge of both declarative and programmatic development within Salesforce
• Experience with Waterfall and/or agile development methodologies
• Hands-on working with tools such as Git, JIRA and Confluence
• Good presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Skilled in both documenting and delivery

Preferred - Not essential

• Experience with CTI solutions
• Experience with marketing platforms compatible with SF - E.g. Marketo
• Experience with standard DevOps principles is beneficial
• Salesforce deployment knowledge on metadata level including any of the following deployment tools - Ant Deployment Tools, Gearset, Copado, AutoRabit etc.
