Salesforce Product Owner - Hospitailty Sector - Oslo

We are working with a prestigious Scandinavian hotel chain known for providing unparalleled hospitality experiences. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we have integrated Salesforce solutions to optimise our sales, marketing, and customer engagement processes. We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Product Owner to lead the enhancement, optimisation, and innovation of our Salesforce ecosystem, which includes Sales Cloud, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), and Marketing Cloud.

Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Ownership:
    • Take ownership of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Marketing Cloud, to align with business objectives and ensure optimal functionality.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritise roadmap items, considering both short-term needs and long-term strategic goals.


  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Work closely with business stakeholders, sales, marketing, and IT teams to understand and document requirements for system enhancements and new features.
    • Translate business needs into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for development teams.


  • Solution Design:
    • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and architects to design effective solutions that leverage the capabilities of Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Marketing Cloud to meet business requirements.
    • Ensure solutions adhere to best practices, scalability, and maintainability.


  • Agile Project Management:
    • Drive the Agile development process by leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Monitor project timelines, communicate progress to stakeholders, and address any potential roadblocks.


  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, and IT departments to facilitate open communication and alignment of priorities.
    • Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of requirements.


  • User Training and Support:
    • Collaborate with training teams to develop user training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure effective system utilisation.
    • Provide ongoing user support, address inquiries, and troubleshoot issues related to the Salesforce ecosystem.


  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to optimise and streamline existing processes using Salesforce technologies.
    • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and industry trends to drive innovation within the organisation.



  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Marketing Cloud Consultant are a plus. (Relevant experience instead of a degree will also be considered)
    • Proven experience as a Salesforce Product Owner or similar role, preferably in a complex business environment.
    • In-depth knowledge of Sales Cloud, CPQ, and/or Marketing Cloud, with the ability to architect solutions and understand technical implications.
    • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in leading Agile projects.
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between technical and business teams.
    • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
