Salesforce Commerce Cloud Backend Developer

We are working with a global retail client looking for an experienced Commerce Cloud Backend Developer who is driven by challenging themselves, working in a collaborative environment to achieve the company goals across multiple brands.

As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customisation's to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform to support e-commerce operations. You will work closely with the teams to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will also collaborate with frontend developers, project managers, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop customizations to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform using JavaScript, Node.js, and Salesforce APIs
• Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform and integration's
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical guidance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce Commerce Cloud releases, features, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 3 years of experience developing on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, and REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience with integrating external systems and services into Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud certification is a plus
