Main Role Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage a complete implementation and configuration for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud stack
  • Work with the client during discovery phase to develop the use cases and implementation requirements
  • Document the technical requirements to be used in solution design and for implementation
  • Undertake the technical implementation of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform(s), including CDP and Interaction Studio
  • Serve as a technical liaison and consultant for the client's web developers and engineers
  • Develop necessary code within the platform including Cloud Pages and email templates
  • Write JavaScript for Interaction Studio use cases
  • Architect and implement tags, SDKs, API connections, server-to-server integrations and other connectors to enable data ingestion and/or campaign activation across all the client's digital channels
  • Configure data inport and setup data models (data extensions, contact model, …)
  • Conduct training, deliver presentations, and lead meetings with clients and partners
  • Undertake training and certify for new technologies as they come to market
  • Assist with the pre-sales process. Meet with potential clients, understand their requirements and translate into a proposal or Statement of Work




Essential Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in the relevant components: Email Studio, Audience Builder, Cloud Pages, Content Builder, Social Studio, Journey Builder, Advertising Studio, Mobile Studio, Audience Studio, and Interaction Studio.
  • Experiences in configuring Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and integrating with Marketing Cloud
  • Certified as either Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Administrator, Developer or Consultant
  • Previously worked with clients to understand their data, segmentation and customer experience.
  • Deep experience in Marketing Cloud development, including AMPscript / Server Side JavaScript (SSJS), HTML/CSS, SQL queries, Marketing Cloud's SOAP and REST APIs, integrations with web CMS, custom reports, dynamic email personalisation.
  • Deep knowledge of Internet technologies and system integration (e.g. web programming, API integrations, ETL configuration, cookie-based applications, mobile SDKs, …)
  • Understanding of digital advertising and digital marketing KPIs and metrics
  • Experience in engaging, collaborating, advocating and negotiating solution architecture and design with platform architects.
  • Ability to manage project life cycles of digital solutions (scoping, milestone planning, KPI, delivery).
  • Must be comfortable speaking in public and interacting with C-level executives, marketers, web developers, engineers, analysts and ad agencies.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects.
  • Fluent in English - written and verbal fluency


Additional Useful Experience:
  • Knowledge in other Salesforce products such as Datorama, Pardot, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Broader web and database development experience.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms or customer data platforms from other vendors.
  • Ability to work with tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager.
  • AdTech, digital marketing, and/or analytics experience.
  • Knowledge of MarTech industry challenges such as 3P cookie, privacy laws etc.
