Mulesoft / Salesforce Integration Developer

We are currently seeking a proficient Integration Engineer to join our esteemed team. Reporting directly to the Director of IT, Analytics, and Data Platforms, this role is hands-on, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise integrations. The successful candidate will take ownership of data integrations, document integration requirements, streamline processes, and provide ongoing technical support. Experience in healthcare data, particularly with Salesforce Health Cloud, is considered a significant asset. This role demands exceptional communication abilities, technical acumen, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MuleSoft integrations using various components such as flows, sub-flows, connectors, and asynchronous flows.
• Lead the creation of data integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow across systems.
• Design and implement APIs using RAML to ensure scalability and compliance with best practices.
• Manage REST/SOAP web services for efficient data exchange.
• Design dataflows, logging mechanisms, and adhere to design patterns like RESTful design principles.
• Document integration requirements, processes, and design specifications to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Provide continuous technical support, optimize post-launch, monitor, and resolve operational issues.
• Identify and troubleshoot integration issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement necessary fixes.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging integration technologies and industry best practices to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise in MuleSoft features, including integration flows, sub-flows, connectors, flow controls, and asynchronous flows.
• Proficiency in handling various data formats such as JSON, XML, XSLT, CSV, Excel, and Flat files.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using Batch, Broadcast, Bidirectional, Event-driven, and SOQL.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for MuleSoft integrations.
• Implement security measures in APIs, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards and industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PHI.

Preferred/Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Education

• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), B2B integrations, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) using MuleSoft.
• Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and collaborating with distributed teams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues related to MuleSoft integrations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to excel in highly ambiguous and fast-paced environments, adapting quickly to evolving requirements and priorities.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
