Job Summary

B&A is looking for a Salesforce Front-End/User Interface Sr. Developer to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting US Customs and Border Protection.



Responsibilities

Design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products.
Interface closely with the Salesforce Architect, customer, and development team to develop excellent products meeting the client needs.
Analyze, understand, and improve the product's UI performance
Contribute to enhancing UI framework
Work with engineering teams within the agile process helping to write frontend tests for new and existing features


Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another relevant subject
5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on user interface development


Required Skills

Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience with Apex and at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Javascript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python)
High proficiency in at least one high-level programming language and web framework (NodeJS, Express, Hapi, etc.)
Experience using Visualforce to create custom Salesforce pages.
Experience with modern HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3
Solid understanding of Database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL and relational database schema design
Experience in automated testing including unit and functional testing.
Hands-on experience with the Lightning Component Framework.
Excellent communication skills


Desired Skills

Working experience with multiple front-end frameworks, such as Angular, Vue, Ember, React, etc. to have an opinion of the qualities of each versus the others
Experience building highly scalable web applications.
Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.
Master's degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent field


Security Clearance

Candidate must be eligible for a DHS (CBP) Security Clearance.
US Citizenship required.
Current clearance highly preferred.
