We are looking for a Salesforce Engineer with Java experience to join our Global CRM Team. The CRM team's mission is to implement a scalable CRM platform that provides a 360－degree view of customer data to enable our business at all levels. In this role, you will configure and customize SalesCloud and ServiceCloud to serve our Japan's customers and employees, as well as over 300 Salesforce users globally. You will play an important role in understanding our Japan's business requirements, then planning and migrating these workflows to Salesforce － not only by developing in Salesforce, but also by writing / migrating custom Java－based integrations between Salesforce and our proprietary retail trading applications. In this role you will be reporting to the Global CRM Team Lead, and will be working with engineering teams in Canada, Poland, and Japan.
Role & Responsibilities
Familiarize yourself with our legacy CRM, with the goal of migrating all of the functionality to Salesforce.
Maintain and migrate Java-based applications built on top of our existing CRM that enable customer account management (and eventually rebuild these on top of Salesforce!).
Write Java-based integrations on the Mulesoft Anypoint integration platform to connect Salesforce with other data sources and applications.
Work with our Data Engineering and development teams to evolve our Salesforce data model to be the golden source for customer data.
Configure, Customize, develop, test and deploy Salesforce projects for our customer onboarding process to meet regulatory requirements.
Independently identify and propose areas that you know we can improve! Review and optimize the implementation of Sales, Service, and Marketing processes in Salesforce related to Campaign Management, Lead Management, Opportunity Management, and Case Management.
Work closely with implementation partners to deploy new Sales Cloud and Service Cloud projects including Einstein Analytics, Communities, Knowledge Base.
Skills & Qualifications
Solid experience with Java (we're using Java 11) with Spring framework
Salesforce Developer or Architect certification or demonstrated experience required (other Salesforce certifications are an asset)
Fluent ability to communicate in English (written and spoken) as well as Japanese (Native).
