Proactively lead the day-to-day management of the Marketing Engagement Team (across two geographies), including workload distribution, individual development & mentoring, and team building. Apply best practices to meet the unique needs of our different internal clients, business priorities, and campaign objectives. Advocate the importance of marketing automation and CRM within the firm and how it can help build brand awareness and the firm's reputation, enhancing client and account relationships. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their campaigns, map out bespoke content journeys (alongside Marcomms Strategy team) and advise on the most effective course of action to deliver progressive marketing campaigns. Drive collaboration across Clients & Industries, developing and sharing best practices to enhance processes and support new regulations. The successful candidate should support team members to do the same through leading by example. Monitor, analyze and report on campaign effectiveness and embed a culture of agile change with campaign owners to enhance engagement with clients. Manage and develop the integration of our marketing automation platform with our CRM tool in line with CRM functionality enhancements. Manage relationships with key third-party vendors and consultants, scope and deliver progressive project plans in line with strategy, optimizing our use of the Marketing Automation platform, and make the most of new functionality/enhance client user journeys. Maintain data quality and proactively manage data within the Marketing Automation platform and CRM to ensure data compliance in line with GDPR. Develop and facilitate internal training programs, including firm-wide webinars, presentations, and focus groups.
An ideal candidate for this role would have these desired skills:
4+ years' experience in a marketing automation role (Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, Marketing Cloud), with an excellent understanding of B2B campaign development and execution with a specific focus on designing, creating, and managing complex email marketing campaigns.
Up-to-date with marketing automation technology and best practices, including a solid understanding of lead scoring and lead nurturing.
Previous experience working with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), verifying campaign data, and ensuring effective campaign management.
Ability to challenge existing operational setup in our Marketo instance, including content journeys and templates to provide best in class experience to clients (internal and external), whilst ensuring operational efficiencies are reached.
Evidence of excellent stakeholder management skills, confidence, and comfortable working with people at all levels, with strong and clear communication skills.
A proactive, progressive, and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail, and the ability to uncover insights from marketing engagement data to aid business conversations.
Proven experience managing multiple projects at any one time, working well under pressure, and dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines.
