As the Apttus CPQ Technical Architect/Lead, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, sales operations teams, and developers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient technical solutions. You will be responsible for leading the technical design, development, and implementation of the Apttus CPQ platform, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect end-to-end solutions using the Apttus CPQ platform, considering scalability, flexibility, and integration requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse functional requirements, translating them into technical designs and specifications.
- Lead the configuration, customisation, and development of Apttus CPQ solutions, including product modeling, pricing rules, discounting, approval processes, and document generation.
- Define and enforce development best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines to ensure robust and maintainable solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to technical standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Sales Operations, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of the Apttus CPQ platform with other enterprise systems.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure optimal performance and stability of the CPQ platform.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, Apttus CPQ platform updates, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organisation.
- Proven experience as a technical lead or architect in implementing and supporting Apttus CPQ solutions, including configuration, pricing, and quoting.
- Strong knowledge of Apttus CPQ platform capabilities, configuration, and customisation using Apttus configuration tools, including Apttus CPQ product modeling, pricing rules, and approval processes.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM platform
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
