Most recently they have decided to extend their reach and create and build a new IT hub in Poland.

About your role

• You will be a first point of contact for multiple, large-scale Oracle databases
• You will be responsible for Installation, configuration, monitoring and upgrade of database software and related products
• Design and implementation of backups and recovery strategy
• Perform capacity planning and load testing
• Implement security measures to protect data from unauthorized access
• Write and maintain custom scripts to automate various DBA tasks
• You will be a subject matter expert in any DBA related enquiries

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Several years of experience as an Oracle DBA
• Expertise in installation, configuration, upgrade, and patching of Oracle databases
• Strong understanding of the Oracle database architecture
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting of Oracle databases
• Working knowledge of shell scripting
• Experience with other relational databases, such as SQL Server, MySQL preferred
• You must speak communicative German
