Senior Salesforce Engineer

Job Description

My client is a successful End User organization in the Travel and Tourism sector. They currently have an offshore development team that they are looking to move to the UK and this Senior Salesforce Developer opportunity is their first UK hire towards this. My client aims to transition the Senior Salesforce Developer into a technical lead position within 4 months as they hire more developers to grow the team.


Role & Responsibilities

• Work closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Stakeholders to design and deliver solutions for customer service and sales teams in a faced paced environment
• Deliver technical-led initiatives independently to support the platform
• Identify improvements for existing features and processes
• Communicate effectively with team members, and business stakeholders and understand business requirements
• Mentor Junior team members

Skills & Qualifications

• Significant previous experience working as a Software Engineer on the Salesforce platform
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce declarative and programmatic capabilities
• Experience with both Classic and Lightning platforms and knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of both platforms
• Salesforce certifications such as Admin, Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer 2, and Salesforce Service Cloud Cert are highly recommended
• Good knowledge of Salesforce integration capabilities
