New York City (also open to San Fran)| Hybrid: 2-3 days in office





A prominent wealth management firm is looking for learning & development professionals who are passionate about technology and user experience. The job of the Director of Digital Adoption Platforms (DAP) will focus on implementing WalkMe's DAP to provide contextual in-app guidance and support new users of Salesforce with the goal of accelerating time to competency.

The Director will partner closely with product managers, IT partners and other change management team members to analyze the impact of new technology capabilities and the best way to drive adoption. This individual will use their instructional design expertise to create in-app guidance, live and self-paced training materials and may facilitate feedback sessions with users to understand the effectiveness of these resources.


What you'll do as Director of Digital Adoption Platforms:
  • Work with product managers, business users and IT partners to design and deliver effective digital adoption strategies for Salesforce and other SaaS platforms.
  • Use adult learning theory and instructional design methods to build innovative learning experiences, including in-app guidance solutions, on-demand training resources and materials to support instructor led training.
  • Actively engage partners and users to gather feedback and review adoption and usage data to assess effectiveness of and continually improve change management tactics and training resources.
  • Work effectively in a matrix environment to collaborate and gain consensus on proposed strategies/tactics.


You could be a great fit if you have:
  • 5 years of experience in instructional design, organizational change management or learning & development, preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Digital Adoption Platforms or in app guidance solutions, such as WalkMe, Pendo, WhatFix, Salesforce In-App, preferred.
  • Certification as a WalkMe Solution Builder or Solution Engineer is a plus
  • Experience/familiarity with Salesforce (or other CRM)
  • Experience in or working knowledge of wealth management or financial services industry is a plus
  • Undergraduate degree required


What skills you will use:
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles for live and on demand learning including development of instructional strategies, course materials, assessment techniques, appropriate integration of instructional technologies and best practices;
  • Proficient with technology and aptitude to learn new applications quickly;
  • Experience with Digital Adoption Platforms/in-app guidance tools, such as WalkMe, Pendo, Whatfix, Salesforce In-App Guidance;
  • Strong business orientation with an understanding of wealth management processes.
  • Detail-oriented individual who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business priorities;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can speak articulately with and in language appropriate for business/front line users and technology partners;
  • Ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations with internal and external groups; can be both direct and diplomatic;
  • Generates trust and builds alliances across business and functional lines; can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all; is a team player and encourages collaboration.
