A client of ours is seeking a firm-wide Salesforce Administrator to join their team in Minneapolis. This person will act as a primary resource by providing ongoing support, maintenance and configuration for our existing Salesforce platform. This includes data management, core support functions, data analysis, enforcing data standards, development delivery, and sustaining a close relationship with our business line SME's for each Salesforce org to assist them in adoption and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Customize Salesforce, including custom objects and fields, page layouts, reports and dashboards, profiles and sharing rules, workflows and approval processes
  • Collaborate with Technology to create profiles, groups & permission sets
  • Provide first-level support to teams across the department including user administration, issue identification and issue resolution
  • Act as a subject matter expert to participate in business discussions relating to new functionality, system solutions or other broadly scoped initiatives
  • Manage data migration to/from Salesforce in collaboration with other technology teams
  • Evaluate, recommend and implement third party solutions and app exchange packages based on business request or project needs in collaboration with other technology teams
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve the issues related to Salesforce environment and app exchange application
  • Assist in your Business Partners' efforts to develop training materials and deliver training to internal teams and users to expand use of Salesforce to optimize sales productivity and effectiveness resulting in enhanced user knowledge and competency by providing relevant documentation, screenshots, or other expertise to the SMEs
  • Assist in the creation of user documentation and maintain ongoing system change documentation
  • Assist with data maintenance through ongoing data analysis, data deduping and cleanup activities
  • Create reports and extract CRM information as-needed



Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ year of relevant experience, Salesforce experience preferred
  • Experience with CRM deployment or Salesforce Org integration



Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong to Expert understanding of core Salesforce administration and functionality, including data objects and data models, with ability to troubleshoot wide variety of issues
  • Experience in configuring Salesforce elements, including custom objects and fields, page layouts, reports, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and approval processes
  • Basic knowledge of Marketing Cloud and its integration with Saleforce
  • Experience migrating data to and from Salesforce using Dataloader
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a high-speed, highly-analytical environment
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently while supporting a team
  • Prioritization and ability to meet tight deadlines required
  • Strong organizational skillset to successfully manage a large number of users and data
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
