What You'll Do
  • Strategy & Planning
    • Identify and recommend new features and applications in conjunction with business leaders.
    • Proactively keep up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies; drive adoption of new technologies and best practices.
  • Acquisition & Deployment
    • Implement approved hardware, software, platforms, publishing tools, and programming languages for the development of system updates.
  • Software Development & Support
    • Mentor other developers, including peer reviewing code and paired programming.
    • Recommend and implement enhancements and modifications to the platform.
    • Develop software applications and APIs using suitable technologies.
    • Partner with Learning & Development Department to train on current and new system enhancements.
    • Remain current on regulatory requirements for technology systems.
    • Partner with technical leaders in the mentoring of junior team members.
    • Ensure technical designs are consistent and aligned with the broader enterprise vision.
    • Track and manage incurred technical debt.
    • Work with Risk Department to define security standards and ensure new and existing applications meet security standards.
    • Ensure vulnerability exposures resulting from security scans are addressed in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to provide research and development, and proofs of concept for new technology.
    • Provide timely resolution to support tickets in accordance to team service level targets.
  • Testing
    • Develop comprehensive testing plan that includes
      • Acceptance criteria
      • Code coverage minimums are met
      • Automated testing services are in place
    • Define, Develop, and maintain unit tests.
  • Processes
    • Actively contribute to and enforce best practices, group standards.
    • Keep up to date on current technology and secure programming practices
    • Work with Enterprise Architecture to develop and maintain standards documentation.
    • Perform peer and lead code reviews.
    • Ensure code review process meets security standards.
    • Work with Architecture and Upper Management to create and implement cloud strategy.


LET'S TALK IF YOU
  • Possess a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3+) years development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Have familiarity with various integration patterns (SOAP, REST, and batch) and tools (including Dell Boomi).
  • Can demonstrate a strong understanding of APEX and VisualForce.
  • Show experience/commitment to learning Salesforce Lightning framework and components.
  • Possess experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud and/or nCino.
  • Have demonstrated technical coaching / mentoring experience.
  • Can demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of C# or Java and SQL.
  • Have experience with Agile development practices.
