Description:
As a Digital Customer DevOps Lead, you will work with internal and client-facing Agile teams to design and implement platforms and frameworks for improving the overall quality of products and solutions through the analysis, design, build, release, and maintenance phases, with an emphasis on knowledge management, non-functional requirements (standards, resilience, stability, scalability, security, etc.), process adherence, operational oversight, team enablement, and coordination. You will design, set up and maintain automation and infrastructure, enabling product and solution teams to focus on delivery.


On the Digital Customer team, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:

* 6+ years of relevant experience in technical consulting or an equivalent combination of experience and education
* 3+ years of experience creating DevOps artifacts, best practices, and standards
* 2 + years of experience in managing Salesforce, Dynamics, or other similar SaaS solution releases
* Intimate knowledge of Metadata API and SFDX; source format, project structure, packaging, and org management
* Demonstrated ability to articulate processes and tools utilized to ensure quality, stability, performance, scalability, deployment, security, maintenance, and documentation
* Demonstrated experience with DevOps automation platforms such as Atlassian, Azure, Headset, Copado, Flossum, etc.
* Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipeline and migration tools (Jenkins, Ant Migration Tool, Bambi, Azure Pipelines, etc.)
* Extensive knowledge around challenging metadata areas and resolving merge conflicts
* Experience with Version Control systems (Bitbucket, GitHub, etc.) and system registration, setup, branching strategy, environment strategy, etc.
* Experience with monitoring platforms such as New Relic, Splunk, Fair Warning, Einstein Event Monitoring Analytics, ELF Browser is an asset
* Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of latest trends in DevOps methodologies, processes, and tools, as well as emerging solutions and ability to apply them when appropriate
* Salesforce DevOps Certification (e.g. Certified Copado Administrator) is an asset

What You Will Be Doing:

* Manages the planning and execution of deployment activities for products, solutions, and operational software systems in a continuous delivery environment
* Establishes and rolls out best practices and tools for future Salesforce DevOps implementation for our Salesforce DevOps team nationally
* Support the team members of the Salesforce DevOps team with their project activities and learning/training
* Liaises and consults with internal, client, and project teams to manage and mature DevOps automation and release management
* Supports merge conflicts and clean-up source control in collaboration with the build team members
* Translates the technical plan for development management and DevOps automation
* Establishes DevOps strategy and plans for successful implementation starting from on-boarding to delivery and maintenance
* Defines a communication process to resolve errors
* Conducts solution reviews
* Provides advanced technical and/or business consultative services including standards, procedures, accelerators, functional and technical documentation, training, and workshop leadership
* Implements CI/CD strategies that incorporate the entire application development lifecycle as well as the continual evolution of cross-functional collaboration, associated best practices, and standards
* Provides technical leadership and strategic direction for DevOps implementations
* Devises DevOps strategy for large organizations and drive toward successful implementation
