Senior Salesforce Developer/Engineer

ONSITE 3X A WEEK IN NYC (NEXT TO CHRYSTLER BUILDING)

Summary: Since 2019, the Client's technology department has embarked on a total
transformation. The current team is hungry, hands-on, technically competent, and highperforming. This new opportunity will be the second in command in the Sales Technology team
and assist the Sales Technology manager to manage a team of 5 programmers, both onshore
and offshore. You will have undisputed authority with regards to Salesforce, and if possible,
Marketo. You will have heavy interactions with at least 1 Regional Sales Lead (a total of 3), with
little to no supervision. The position entails:
* 60% Code development and deployment
* 30% Data gathering sessions with Sales Leads
* 10% Salesforce platform administration
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following, but are not limited to:
* Maintain and enhance security modeling and manage new user provisioning
* Build integrations with Salesforce using REST & SOAP
* Data management
o Ad hoc data load request
o Execute scheduled data maintenance
* Management and deployment of change sets
* Maintenance of user interface enhancement tools
* Manage the deployment of other third-party applications (i.e. DST/SS&C SalesConnect)
* Develop and manage dashboards and reports in Salesforce
* Deploy changes and release notes to the Salesforce community
* Collaborate across departments globally to trouble shoot and enhance software
solutions
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job will oversee a team of 5 programmers, both onshore
and offshore.
Experience/Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technology preferred
* Salesforce Developer and Administrator certifications
Qualifications:
* Experience managing a team preferably Salesforce developers
* Experience collaborating with Sales Management
* A minimum of 5 years of experience with Platform Development
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in application development and administration
activities in Sales Cloud
* A minimum of 1 year experience with development activities on the Salesforce Lightning
platform which includes: Lightning Components using the Lightning Design System
framework, Apex, Apex data loader, LwC, Aura Components, using REST API
development and declarative platform tools (Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning
App Builder, etc.) a plus
* Demonstrate experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling and
preferably knowledgeable in platforms like Marketo and Relational Junction
* Knowledge of Database/SQL and Cloud ETLs knowledge are a plus (i.e. Jitterbit, Dell
MuleSoft)
* Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with changing priorities; self-sufficient
and motivated to excel
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to achieve goals in a team environment
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite, advanced excel skills required
* Strong written communication and presentation skills
Compensation:
* If this position will be performed in whole or in part in New York City, the base salary
range is $130,000 to $160,000. Individual salaries may vary based on different factors
including but not limited to, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Base
salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection
with this position.
