Salesforce QA Engineer - Fully Remote - 110K


As a Salesforce QA Engineer, you will contribute to and review the creation of designs for production software. Your focus will be finding and reporting critical bugs accurately & quickly. You should be a great communicator that can intuitively find issues and be able to understand when the application is behaving properly or not. You should have the capability to quickly become a Subject Matter Expert in the products you will be testing. Also, you should be able to capture the appropriate logs to help diagnose issues.

Be a Subject Matter Expert for a Salesforce Guided Selling application
Work in an Agile environment and be able to adapt quickly to testing demands.
Analyze and get clarification on Story Acceptance Criteria.
Act as a super user and be able to effectively communicate all aspects of the Application workflows and its behavior.
Communicate effectively with team members on testing priorities and get clarification on test related JIRA tasks.
Be familiar with Exploratory testing methodologies.
Write detailed test cases and execute them.
Be familiar with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin Language.
Creatively & intuitively find bugs for recently added features in the application.
Perform regression testing and provide detailed bug reports & test results reports with reproducible test steps and screenshots.
Understand project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
Investigate customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, test bugs, and create and manage bug reports.
Be able to capture the appropriate logs in Salesforce to help diagnose issues.
Handle technical communications and understand the customers' systems.
Work with deployment teams, resolve level issues for systems, coordinate product design, and offer inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
Noting all testing actions you have performed in daily and weekly reports.
Analyze and disintegrate software systems and coordinate with other teams to enhance the overall design.
Research test tools, methodologies, and trends.
Upgrade existing practices and processes.

Minimum Qualifications
A passion for testing, development, and design.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent designing and programming skills.
Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools.
The ability to recognize risks and errors in an application.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good time management and organizational skills.
The ability to keep current with the constantly changing technology industry.
3+ years of relevant work experience in software development.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce, Apex, Agile, JIRA, TestRail/Test Case Management tools.
