The average Salesforce Administrator salary in the USA is dependent on the level of experience. A junior-level Administrator tends to earn around $98,152 while mid- and senior-level Salesforce Administrators can command salaries of $107,510 and $123,158.
According to the newest figures, a junior Salesforce Admin can make up to 125% more than the average US worker ($44,000) whilst their UK counterpart earns 25% more than the average UK salary (£27,772).
Becoming a certified Salesforce Admin could increase your salary even further. Our 2019 Salary Survey findings state 39% of respondents saw a rise in their earnings with one respondent commenting, ‘being certified would give me the leverage when negotiating’. The ‘Administrator’ certification is currently the most popular, having been obtained by 70% of respondents.
The freelance market has also never been more fruitful for Salesforce professionals. A Contract Salesforce Admin salary hovers between $62 and $111 an hour. This is a similar rate to that of last year, and while there has been no growth, it at least demonstrates that the market is stable and sustainable.
With increasing prevalence of data management in our society, a Salesforce Administrator is, in many ways, the gatekeeper to a company’s most important information. Responsible for keeping other aspects of the business productive and focused on the customer, it’s not surprising this occupation saw a 34% growth rate over the last year.
