Senior Mulesoft Application Developer

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior MuleSoft Engineer to design, develop, and implement integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This remote contract role (initial term of 3+ months) will focus on building backend APIs, interfaces, and integrations to support mission-critical systems and business operations.

Responsibilities:

Development & Implementation:

• 
  
  Lead the development and deployment of MuleSoft APIs and applications.
• 
  
  Create RAML and API specifications.
• 
  
  Build and deploy Mule flows, APIs, and connectors.
• 
  
  Configure and manage API policies.
• 
  
  Use DevOps tools to deploy code across environments.
• 
  
  Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing.
• 
  
  Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• 
  
  Collaborate with 3rd-party vendors for integration requirements and testing.
• 
  
  Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
• 
  
  Create documentation aligned with customer standards.

Technical Leadership:

• 
  
  Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development teams.
• 
  
  Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• 
  
  Work closely with business analysts, PMs, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• 
  
  Contribute to project planning and development estimates.

Best Practices & Standards:

• 
  
  Define and enforce MuleSoft development standards and best practices.
• 
  
  Stay up to date and recommend enhancements using new MuleSoft features.

Qualifications:

• 
  
  5+ years of hands-on experience in integration development.
• 
  
  3+ years of experience working with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• 
  
  5+ years of experience with Java development.
• 
  
  Strong understanding of integration patterns, REST/SOAP web services, and API lifecycle.
• 
  
  Experience with DevOps tools for CI/CD is a plus.
