Position: Project Engineer Location: North Port, FL Employment Type: Full-TimeOverview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of reverse osmosis and low-pressure membrane systems. This role involves hands-on technical work; cross-functional collaboration; and full-cycle project involvement, from concept to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform analytical design and specify system components with a focus on engineering precision and problem-solving
Create cost estimates and technical proposals for project bids
Assist in developing project schedules; coordinate closely with engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Prepare technical documentation, including P&IDs, equipment layouts, and submittals for procurement
Monitor and control project progress, budgets, and timelines
Communicate with vendors for quotes; review proposals; and evaluate component cost-effectiveness
Write and edit Operations & Maintenance manuals; gather documentation from vendors and subcontractors
Collaborate with internal CAD and fabrication teams to finalize detailed fabrication designs
Support installation, startup, and testing; provide training for system operators
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines with close attention to detail
Motivated team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset
Nice to Have:
Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
