SALESFORCE QA ROLE

Responsibilities:

Create, implement, and maintain automated test scripts tailored to Salesforce environments using approved automation frameworks and tools.
Design test strategies and execute test cases targeting core Salesforce features including Flows, Triggers, and Apex Jobs.
Contribute to various quality assurance tasks, aligning with broader team and organizational objectives.
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure full understanding of business workflows and application features.
Report testing progress, blockers, and resolutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Operate within Agile development teams to support continuous delivery and iterative improvement.
Track and uphold software quality standards and KPIs throughout the SDLC.
Support ongoing improvement of QA processes, documentation, and automation coverage.
Stay current on emerging QA tools, frameworks, and industry best practices-particularly those related to Salesforce ecosystems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field-or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on QA or software testing experience, with an emphasis on Salesforce platforms preferred.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript).
Solid grasp of modern development workflows, including version control systems and peer code review processes.
Familiarity with key quality metrics such as defect leakage, reliability, and test repeatability.

Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of Apex and Salesforce-native automation tools such as Process Builder, Flows, and Triggers.
Experience writing and debugging Salesforce queries using SOQL and SOSL.
Exposure to Salesforce development frameworks and tools like Lightning Web Components, Aura, and CI/CD tools (e.g., DevOps Center).
Prior experience testing solutions in industries like finance or investments is highly advantageous.
Hands-on experience using Copado Robotic Testing or similar test automation platforms for Salesforce.
