The Role



As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will take ownership of the design, development, and optimisation of our Salesforce environment, with a particular focus on Salesforce CPQ. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support business growth and improve user experience.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and enhancement of Salesforce solutions, including Salesforce CPQ
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable Salesforce architectures
  • Customise Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools
  • Manage CPQ configuration, pricing rules, product bundles, and quote templates
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Support integrations with third-party systems and APIs
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer in a senior or lead capacity
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (current or prior)
  • Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices
  • Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) are highly desirable

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within the education sector or similar mission-driven organisations
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with other Salesforce products (e.g., Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)
