Senior MuleSoft Developer
Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite 2-3 days per week)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft professional to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise integration solutions. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with architectural oversight, ensuring integrations are secure, scalable, and aligned with business and technology strategies. Responsibilities may evolve as the integration landscape grows, and reasonable accommodations will be provided where needed.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Architecture & Design
- Define integration architectures using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform while adhering to organizational standards and best practices.
- Create integration roadmaps and strategies that support both business goals and technical constraints.
API Design & Modeling
- Build intuitive, well‑documented APIs based on RESTful guidelines.
- Develop RAML/OpenAPI specifications and data models that enable seamless connectivity between systems.
Integration Development
- Implement Mule 4.x flows, connectors, routing logic, error‑handling frameworks, and transformation components.
- Deliver integrations that are stable, scalable, and suitable for complex enterprise workloads.
Data Transformation
- Develop advanced DataWeave transformations that handle complex structures, multiple formats, and high‑volume data sets.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data across integration points.
Monitoring, Logging & Error Handling
- Create centralized logging, monitoring, and exception‑handling approaches.
- Deliver integrations that support quick diagnostics and high operational uptime.
Performance & Scalability Optimization
- Analyze throughput, memory use, and latency; perform tuning to enhance performance.
- Conduct performance testing and adjust design patterns or configurations as needed.
Security & Compliance
- Implement integration security including OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, TLS/SSL, encryption, and related controls.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security frameworks and industry requirements.
Integration Patterns
- Apply architectural patterns such as synchronous APIs, async messaging, event‑based interactions, and batch flows.
- Select the appropriate pattern depending on business process needs.
Collaboration & Requirements Analysis
- Engage with analysts, architects, Salesforce teams, and engineering groups to clarify requirements.
- Translate business needs into actionable integration designs.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Build automated testing frameworks for APIs and flows.
- Conduct detailed validation to ensure high‑quality, reliable integrations.
Documentation
- Produce technical documentation covering APIs, data flows, integration architecture, and operational procedures.
- Keep documentation consistent, detailed, and current.
Reviews & Governance
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure compliance with MuleSoft standards and internal guidelines.
- Uphold governance and enforce integration patterns and best practices across teams.
CI/CD & Deployment
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft using Git, Jenkins, Maven, or Azure DevOps.
- Establish branching strategies and automated deployment processes.
Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve integration issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Provide guidance and support for ongoing operations and enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of MuleSoft development experience delivering enterprise‑grade integrations.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (Mule 4)
- MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2 (Mule 4)
- MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect - Level 1
- Deep familiarity with Anypoint Platform components (Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, Design Center, Studio).
- Strong understanding of Mule 4.x flows, routing, transformers, and exception handling.
- Expertise in API design using RAML, REST, and OpenAPI.
- Advanced DataWeave proficiency for complex transformations.
- Solid understanding of synchronous, async, event‑driven, and batch patterns.
- Experience configuring MuleSoft CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, TLS/SSL, and related security mechanisms.
- Hands‑on CloudHub deployment and environment management experience.
- Strong knowledge of SOA principles, integration patterns, and structured data formats (JSON, XML, SOAP).
- Experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1
- Experience integrating with Salesforce via the MuleSoft Salesforce Connector.
- Exposure to ERPs such as SyteLine, SAP, or Oracle.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with messaging technologies (JMS, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms-Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Anypoint Monitoring, Visualizer, and observability tooling.
- Understanding of microservices and distributed architectures.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial environments is beneficial.
