Marketo Marketing Operations/Automation Consultant - Outside IR35

Start Date: September 2025
Contract Length: 3 Months
Hours: Flexible, 16-40 hours per week
Location: Remote (UK/EU preferred)

I'm working with a consultancy who partners with leading enterprise organisation across industries to deliver high-impact marketing automation solutions, and they're looking for a skilled Marketo Marketing Operations/Automation Consultant to join them on a temporary basis.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborating with enterprise clients to build strategic marketing automation roadmaps
  • Leading functional implementation of Marketo, including campaign setup, lead lifecycle management, and performance tracking
  • Advising on and supporting API integration between Marketo and other platforms (e.g., CRMs, data warehouses, analytics tools)
  • Helping clients optimize their marketing tech stack and automation workflows
  • Providing guidance on best practices for data hygiene, segmentation, and reporting

  • Proven experience with Marketo in a consulting or enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, campaign architecture, and automation strategy
  • Experience with API integration and working knowledge of systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or custom platforms

About the Role:



We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Senior Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. This role is fully remote and will focus on delivering high-impact Salesforce solutions across CPQ, Field Service Lightning, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and configure scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions that drive efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, with a focus on CPQ and Field Service Lightning.


  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.


  • Customize Salesforce objects, workflows, page layouts, reports, dashboards, and validation rules.


  • Provide end-to-end solution architecture and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.


  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality implementations.


  • Lead data migration, integration strategies, and system testing.


  • Provide expert guidance on Salesforce capabilities and align them with business goals.

Required Skills & Experience:



  • Salesforce CPQ Certified or demonstrated expertise in CPQ implementations.


  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL).


  • Solid experience in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules.


  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deliver within tight timelines.


  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and standard/custom object modeling.


  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, Field Service Lightning Consultant).


  • Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL.


  • Previous consulting experience or background in client-facing roles.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Release Manager to lead and manage the release process across our Salesforce environments. This is a remote, part-time contract role supporting a collaborative and agile team delivering enterprise-level Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities:


  • Own the end-to-end Salesforce release process, including planning, scheduling, deployment, validation, and rollback.


  • Coordinate across admin, development, QA, and business teams to ensure successful and timely releases.


  • Maintain a detailed release calendar, environment refresh schedule, and deployment timelines.


  • Ensure compliance with internal change management and release governance policies.


  • Document release notes, deployment steps, and post-deployment validation procedures.


  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve deployment-related issues quickly.


  • Manage CI/CD processes using tools like Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or Salesforce CLI.


  • Support sandbox management and refreshes as needed.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Release or Deployment Management.


  • Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, packaging, and deployment tools.


  • Proficiency with at least one deployment automation platform (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, etc.).


  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and agile release cycles.


  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce change sets, unlocked packages, and environment strategy.


  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
