    Job Title: Salesforce Release Manager

    Overview:
    We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Release Manager to lead and manage the release process across our Salesforce environments. This is a remote, part-time contract role supporting a collaborative and agile team delivering enterprise-level Salesforce solutions.

    Responsibilities:


    • Own the end-to-end Salesforce release process, including planning, scheduling, deployment, validation, and rollback.


    • Coordinate across admin, development, QA, and business teams to ensure successful and timely releases.


    • Maintain a detailed release calendar, environment refresh schedule, and deployment timelines.


    • Ensure compliance with internal change management and release governance policies.


    • Document release notes, deployment steps, and post-deployment validation procedures.


    • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve deployment-related issues quickly.


    • Manage CI/CD processes using tools like Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or Salesforce CLI.


    • Support sandbox management and refreshes as needed.


    Requirements:


    • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Release or Deployment Management.


    • Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, packaging, and deployment tools.


    • Proficiency with at least one deployment automation platform (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, etc.).


    • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and agile release cycles.


    • Solid knowledge of Salesforce change sets, unlocked packages, and environment strategy.


    • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

    • Support ingestion, harmonization, and activation of customer data in Data Cloud


    • Define data modeling strategies for identity resolution and segmentation


    • Collaborate with marketing operations, CRM, and data teams to execute campaigns


    • Provide guidance on platform best practices, scalability, and data governance


    • Create technical documentation, diagrams, and playbooks for implemented solutions

    Requirements



    • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and development


    • In-depth experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform), including data ingestion pipelines, identity resolution, and real-time audience creation


    • Strong understanding of SFMC tools: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Email/Mobile Studio


    • Skilled in AMPscript, SQL, and server-side JavaScript within the SFMC environment


    • Experience integrating Salesforce clouds and third-party data sources via REST/SOAP APIs


    • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with both technical and business teams


    • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and marketing compliance practices
