Senior Salesforce Developer (Onsite - Northern Virginia)

We're seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join a team delivering large-scale, high-impact Salesforce solutions across an enterprise environment. This is a primarily onsite role based in Northern Virginia, with regular in-person collaboration required. Candidates must be able to work onsite consistently and reliably.

In this role, you'll build secure, scalable applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and API integrations. You'll partner closely with architects, analysts, and technical teams in an Agile environment to transform complex requirements into innovative Salesforce solutions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on development, problem-solving, and influencing technical best practices across a team.

What You'll Do

  • Design, configure, and develop Salesforce solutions using both declarative tools and custom code (Apex, LWC, Visualforce).

  • Implement automation, workflow logic, and Experience Cloud features to support process-driven business needs.

  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into well-documented technical specifications.

  • Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools and ensure secure, reliable data exchange.

  • Support data migrations, including mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation.

  • Produce clean, maintainable, well-documented code following Salesforce best practices and internal standards.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for designs, integrations, and solution architecture.

  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance for scalability and long-term support.

  • Conduct code reviews and act as a technical quality gate for the development team.

  • Provide guidance to teammates and support user adoption of new features.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience across Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and automation tools.

  • Experience using Salesforce development tools (VS Code, Salesforce CLI, debugging tools).

  • Ability to work onsite in Northern Virginia on a regular, predictable schedule (required).

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, with all work performed within the U.S.

  • Experience collaborating within Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong Experience with advanced configuration (Flows, Experience Cloud, access/security, objects, validation rules, etc.).

  • Experience with API-driven integrations, middleware, or ETL frameworks.

  • Familiarity with DevOps processes including packaging, deployments, version control, and code scanning.

  • Experience producing documentation, training material, or technical walkthroughs.

  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise environments or regulated sectors.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • High-impact, enterprise-level development work.

  • Regular onsite collaboration that increases visibility and influence across teams.

  • Opportunity to act as a senior contributor and code-quality leader.

  • Stable long-term environment with modern Salesforce engineering practices.
