    Marketing Automation Consultant - Fully Remote



    The organisation that you would be joining is a fast-growing boutique Salesforce Partner with a great customer base of large scale companies. The company itself happens to be the largest Salesforce Partner in their region and the role would give you the opportunity to be one of the first to join a growing Marketing Cloud team.



    As a Marketing Automation Consultant, you will be taking on a range of responsibilities from presales to technical delivery. You will be working closely with the Account Executives and accompanying them to Presales meetings and answering some of the more technical questions on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Account Engagement. As well as this you will be working quite closely with the clients and gathering requirements and recommend solutions based on those requirements. Another key responsibility of this role will be to work on the technical delivery of these projects alongside a team of technical Salesforce Marketing Cloud experts.



    Key Skills:

    - Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud is essential

    - Certifications on Salesforce Marketing Cloud such as the Consultant and Email Specialist are essential

    - Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement is essential

    - Previous experience working with a Salesforce Partner is ideal but not essential

    Job description




    Key Responsibilities:
    * Design, build, and execute marketing journeys and automation workflows using Journey Builder, tailored to specific customer segments and personas.
    * Develop and deploy personalized, multi-channel campaigns utilizing MobileConnect, including SMS, MMS, and push notifications, to reach customers on their preferred channels.
    * Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams to define campaign objectives, audience targeting criteria, and messaging strategies.
    * Leverage AMPscript for content personalization.
    * Configure and optimize data extensions, data filters, and decision splits within Journey Builder to ensure accurate audience segmentation and campaign personalization.
    * Implement MobileConnect keywords, shortcodes, and subscription management processes to facilitate opt-ins and opt-outs in compliance with regulations.
    * Monitor campaign performance and engagement metrics, conducting A/B tests and analyzing results to optimize campaign effectiveness and ROI.
    * Work closely with Salesforce administrators and developers to integrate Marketing Cloud with other systems and data sources for seamless data flow and campaign execution.
    * Provide training and support to marketing teams on the use of Journey Builder and MobileConnect, empowering them to create and manage their campaigns independently.
    * Stay updated on industry best practices, new features, and trends within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, recommending enhancements and optimizations to maximize platform capabilities.
    * Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, in all marketing activities and campaigns.



    Required Qualifications:
    * Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator
    * 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing operations, campaign management, or similar roles, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    Desirable Qualifications
    * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
    * Additional certifications including Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist
    Required Skills
    * Proficiency in Journey Builder and MobileConnect within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including configuration, automation, and reporting.
    * Experience with Data Extensions, Automation Studio Content Builder, Email Studio, etc.
    * Strong understanding of marketing automation concepts, customer journey mapping, and segmentation strategies.
    * Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
    * Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
