Job Title: Principal Salesforce Business Systems Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Principal Salesforce Business Systems Analyst to join our clients growing team. In this strategic role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams; spanning Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Experience, and IT; to identify, analyze, and refine business needs and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions. This individual will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to drive improvements across enterprise platforms and workflows.

Key Responsibilities



  • Serve as the primary bridge between business units and technical teams to gather, evaluate, and document detailed business requirements.


  • Collaborate with distributed teams to architect functional solutions in Salesforce that align with evolving business goals.


  • Guide stakeholders through best practices for Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud capabilities.


  • Support system configuration, workflow design, report creation, and process automation within Salesforce.


  • Manage ongoing enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous improvements for Salesforce and integrated tools (e.g., FinancialForce PSA, CPQ/CLM).


  • Provide mentorship to junior team members and serve as a subject matter expert across platforms.


  • Lead functional testing efforts by converting requirements into test cases and validating outcomes.


  • Support business process documentation using tools like Visio or Lucidchart, and maintain knowledge repositories via SharePoint or Confluence.


  • Work within agile and hybrid SDLC environments to deliver on roadmap priorities.

Qualifications



  • 7+ years in business systems analysis with deep exposure to Salesforce platform (Service Cloud and/or Sales Cloud).


  • Certified Salesforce Administrator with demonstrated hands-on configuration experience.


  • Experience working with Salesforce Lightning, automation tools (Flows, Process Builder), custom objects, validation rules, roles/profiles, and dashboards.


  • Practical experience with Salesforce CPQ or CLM implementations is strongly preferred.


  • Familiarity with data manipulation and reporting tools to support operational and executive reporting needs.


  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery models, with at least 3 years using tools like Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.


  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and simplify complex technical concepts.


  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within cross-functional, distributed teams.


  • 5+ years' experience documenting and improving business processes using BPM tools.


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus.
